3D Metal Lettering Pack

Who needs shiny chrome layer styles when you can have these realistic 3D metal lettering renders instead?!

It's been a while since we released our first 3D lettering pack, which quickly became one of our most popular resources.

This time, we've created a 3D lettering pack with shiny metal effect, which we think is a far better option to any Photoshop layer styles.

I'm a big fan of 3D lettering packs as I think they're far more realistic than Photoshop text effects. As good as Photoshop's layer effects may be, with bevels and embosses, they never quite match up to the realism of a 3D render.

The 3D text of this Metal Lettering Pack is based on one of my favourite fonts, Montserrat. The individual letters have been extruded in 3D software and then finished with a subtle brushed silver reflective finish.

Each letter is a high-resolution, rendered at around 2,000×2,000px. They're ideal for both screen and print based work.

Included characters: Letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and symbols !.,£$€

Add your own colours!

As each of the characters in this 3D lettering pack features a monochrome colour scheme, you can easily add your own colours in Photoshop.

Simply add a “colour overlay” and see the blend mode to “Color”. You can experiment with other blend modes, but I think the color blend-mode is the most natural.
