Over the last year, we released a selection of drag & drop leaf clipart, which I think are amongst our most useful resources.
As a design resources site, it can be difficult to come up with ideas for new content. It might also seem strange to release a selection of transparent png leaves, given the abundance of leaf stock photos available online.
But as with all our resources, I make them for my own projects first, the types of resources I need in my day to day work. And I must say, the leaves get used over and over again.

So today, I thought it'd be fun to mix these super-useful leaves with another resource that I find myself using over and over again: our Matte Black Patterns.
Using the same 3D models used for our previous leaf packs, we've given them a lick of matte black paint to produce this new variation.
The results are abstract, quirky and fun – just like the kind of resources we like to release here on DesignerCandies. Enjoy!
